Additionally, Peppermint oil can be used as a natural rodent deterrent by adding a few drops to a cotton ball and placing in cupboards, garages, or other places of mice activity. Use caution, however, if you have pets. Peppermint is toxic to dogs and cats and should not be diffused or used around them.
